A life-long animal lover, Rhett joined the SDF Development team in 2009 as a Development Manager. In his current role as Senior Director of Philanthropy, he oversees and helps advance all fundraising efforts, strengthens donor engagement and creates opportunities to increase the impact of our supporters’ philanthropic goals in support of SDF’s mission. Rhett earned a B.A. in English at San Diego State University before beginning the search to find an organization that allowed him to follow his true passion: rescuing dogs. Rhett is often accompanied to work by Roscoe, his Pitbull/Lab mix that was rescued from the local humane society.
