Katie Brennan CPDT-KA CDBC is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer and a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant. She learned about search dogs while working as a trainer with the University of Pennsylvania’s Working Dog Center. Katie has combined her knowledge of working with high-drive dogs with her studies and experiences in behavior modification training in order to shape her teaching of agility, obedience, and nose work classes. She worked as a canine trainer for the National Disaster Search Dog Foundation in 2018 before moving back to the Philadelphia area. Katie is currently working directly with individuals, shelters, and rescues to evaluate potential dogs for consideration for our program and also actively helps to clarify ideal candidate profiles.
