The name of the magazine may sound like it’s all about humans, but SDF is proud to announce that this week’s edition of People magazine has gone to the dogs! If you happen to notice it in the grocery store checkout line this week, grab a copy and check out the feature article on SDF and our Founder, Wilma Melville! We were thrilled to welcome People’s production crew to the NTC where they filmed interviews and captured footage of our Canine Candidates in training. The article tells the stories of our amazing Search Dogs — who went from rescued to rescuer — and will help inform readers across the country about the vital work of these Search Dogs and Handlers.
