With twelve SDF-trained teams deployed for Hurricane Helene, an additional six search teams have now been activated for the incoming Hurricane Milton.
The following canine disaster search teams trained by SDF join their task force teammates in the response for Milton:

Hurricane Milton is currently a Category 5 and is expected to make landfall as a major storm along the West Coast of Florida in the next 48 hours, causing storm surges and flooding.
Our hearts go out to all those who have been impacted by Helene and are now in the path of Milton, and send our thanks to the many rescuers, two- and four-legged alike, who are enroute to help those communities in need.
